Abstract

The main goals of this study are to develop a conceptual model for evaluating student readiness and acceptance for BIM adoption. The theory was based on a technology acceptance model (TAM) that had been extended. The suggested model, in particular, extends the Technology Adoption Model (TAM) by adding the readiness element as an external variable. Thorough knowledge of this model would provide important insights into the factors that influence the adoption or resistance of BIM by intended users, as well as opportunities for future research into technological acceptance.
